Architectural Services for the Design and Construction of Bontnewydd Community Campus
Notice Description
We are seeking tenders for the provision of Architectural services for an exemplar project, funded by the Welsh Government as part of its Sustainable Communities for Learning (SCfL) programme. Both the buildings and the process of construction will be exemplars in sustainability and innovative design. The project involves the design and construction of a new primary school and integrated community centre in Bontnewydd, Gwynedd.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=130653 (WA Ref:130653)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:Gwynedd has a strong programme of achieving Community Benefits through its schools construction projects. This includes training and work experience in all areas of the project which we expect to be offered by all the main consultants on the project, in addition to the main contractor and sub-contractors. You should indicate in your Quality submission how you propose to contribute to this element of the project.The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
