Summary of the contracting process

The buying organisation Sport Wales has awarded a contract for the provision of a Quarterly National Tracking Survey. The tender was for consultancy services and was initiated through an open procurement method. The contract with Savanta Group Ltd was signed on 7th July 2023 in Cardiff. Notice Title

A Quarterly National Tracking Survey for Sport Wales

Notice Description

Since the first Covid-19 lockdown Sport Wales has been periodically monitoring the participation trends of the Welsh Public, examining initially how various levels of Covid guidance impacted on the confidence and ability of the Welsh public to be physically active. Over time this tracking survey has developed into a quarterly approach which not only evaluated activity levels but also tested thematic trends, including issues around sport settings, volunteering and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.Having seen the benefits of a regular temperature check of public trends and opinions to inform the work of Sport Wales and its wider partner network the organisation is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver this survey approach over a long-term period.
