Management Plans for Green Spaces - Vale of Glamorgan
Notice Description
As part of the Vale Nature Partnership's 'Connecting Nature Neighbours' project, one of the targets is to improve conservation management in urban spaces in the target areas.In order to assist the Vale of Glamorgan Council it is proposed that detailed 15-year Conservation Management Plans are drawn up for each of 6 green spaces that will determine the future management, resilience and monitoring of the habitats and species.In drawing up each plan the successful consultant will be expected to involve Council staff in both the Parks and Open Spaces and Countryside Teams plus the Vale Nature Partnership who have considerable knowledge of the green spaces.Draft management plans will be subject to a public consultation following approval by the officers of the Vale of Glamorgan Council.The six parks are located in Penarth, Barry and Llantwit Major and total just over 37 hecatares.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=133700.
