The Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) is looking to establish a single contract with Cancer Hair Care service to improve the patient experience of cancer treatment related hair loss. Cancer Hair Care provide professional support to healthcare professionals and local hairdressers, with training on the wide issues of treatment related hair loss. They also provide patients with access to a number of services such as specialist advise regarding hair loss and the options available together with issuing packs containing head wear and lashes. Cancer Hair Care also signpost to support networks.
