Notice Description

The proposed contract is intended to renew an existing Multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy Framework Agreement, within Swansea Bay University Health Board. The scope of services provided by the Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor shall comprise of the following, whilst providing a flexible solution, which delivers quality, time, and cost benefits to the Health Board.In the execution of duties, the Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor shall at all times comply with the NEC Contract being administered (concerning professional services and/or works contract).Throughout the commission the Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor shall keep the Project Manager/Client informed on all developments relating to the Cost Consultant/Quantity Surveyor area of responsibility that may/will have an effect of deviating the project from the agreed cost and programme.Should proposed variations to the design become necessary at any time, the Project Manager must be immediately informed together with the consequences of such variation. The decision on the progression or not of the variation will be given by the Project Manager after due consideration.The contract is split into two lots:Lot 1 - Works up to PS1,999,999, orLot 2 - PS2,000,000 - PS3,999,999An Expression of Interest exercise was completed prior to Invitation to Tender in a mini-competition against the Property Consultancy DPS (Unique Code: DPS-2023.00051).
