Specification for a 30x30 assessment of the Vale of Glamorgan's Council land and a countywide assess
Notice Description
The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") requires an assessment of its land holdings to determine the extent to which they are currently being managed effectively for biodiversity and the scale of the opportunity to change management to meet the 30% target by 2030. Additionally, working in collaboration with the Vale Nature Partnership, it also wishes to assess how much of the land, coastal and marine area is currently being managed effectively for biodiversity and the scale of the opportunity to change management and land use to meet the 30% target by 2030.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=138625.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. Bidders must submit their proposal for providing the Services. The proposal should include:i. How the assessment and action plan will be delivered;ii. Detail of the team members, their experience and skills and the extent of their projected involvemnet in the project:iii. Detail of the consultancies experience of carrying out similar work gving examples;iv. Demonstration of GIS skills;v. Evidence of partnership working;vi.
