SERVICES FOR UNPAID CARERSWrexham County Borough Council are looking to commission unpaid carers services within three separate LOTs and are seeking tender applications from organisations that are able to meet the required service outcomes as detailed below for the provision of a of a number of services for unpaid carers.The Provider(s) will maximise wellbeing and enable unpaid carers to achieve positive outcomes in the home, community, educational and work environments.This is an outcomes focused specification for adult unpaid carers. As it focuses on outcomes, it leaves scope and flexibility for providers to organise service delivery in a range of ways to achieve the required outcomes. We welcome providers to bring their expertise to the table and outline how they will deliver on the outcomes set out within the specification. Innovation and creativity is encouraged.The service will be commissioned for 3 years with a provision to extend by a further 2 x twelve months.The provider will be expected to work in partnership with local social services teams, third sector organisations and the local health board.The Agreements to be let:Lot 1 - Carers Needs AssessmentsLot 2 - Information, advice and assistanceLot 3 - The management of unpaid carer grantsWe welcome applications from specialist providers who wish to bid for all 3 lots as a complete service, although separate bids for individual lots will be considered.The provider will be ensure that all aspects of their service are delivered within the principles of theSocial Services and Wellbeing Wales ActThe total cost of the complete service for Wrexham County Borough Council is not to exceed PS240,000A breakdown of the cost per LOT is detailed below:Lot 1 - Not to exceed PS100,000Lot 2 - Not to exceed PS60,000Lot 3 - Total to not exceed PS80,000 (including grant money and any management or admin fee)The anticipated contract start date would be 1st August 2024.TUPE will be applicable as there is an incumbent provider delivering the service at present.To register an application, please submit your responses to the questions outlined on eTender Wales.
