Notice Description

Cardiff and Vale are looking to procure the services of a supplier to conduct weekly decontamination inspection across the health board site.All completed testing & Inspection reports shall be issued in batches by "Month and by our site block codes" to the contact administrator on a regular timely basis prior to payment and submitted in the format. Site block planes will be provided.Weekly Testing & Inspections of Decontamination Equipment: This is the main element of the contract and will be managed along with the associated budget by the contract administrator.Remedial Works Call outs / Emergency Breakdowns: Included within this contract is a sum of PS15K per contracted year to cover any remedial works highlighted during the weekly testing & inspections, call outs and or emergency breakdown works.Please Note: this budget is to be used at the discretion of CAV UHB and is not guaranteed to be spent with the appointed contractor.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=141391 NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board will allow a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period between notifying the award decision andawarding the contract.Unsuccessful tenderers and applicants are entitled to receive reasons for the decision, including the characteristics and relative advantages of the winning bid and the reasons why the tenderer/applicant was unsuccessful. Should additional information be required it should be requested of the addressee in section I.1. Aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by breach of the procurement rules have the right to take action in the High Court (England and Wales). Any such action is subject to strict time limits in accordance with the Public Contracts (Amendments) Regulations 2015(WA Ref:141391)
