Supply of Ground Distribution Units

Notice Description

As part of its City Centre Improvement Works Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is looking to source quotes for the supply of In Ground Distribution Units to supply electricity only - example provided within the attached document.The units must:- have a minimum of four power outlets (3 x 16A and 1 X 32A)- have a recessed cover and frame to allow for paving- individually protect each socket by an RCBO or other suitable protection to the satisfaction of WCBC- be constructed of galvanized steel or coated in an alternative protective coating- electrical equipment installed with a rating of IP67The units will be installed in a pavement that will primarily be used by pedestrians, however there may be occasional vehicle activity through deliveries etc. Proposed units should be capable of handling such loads.WCBC will consider various styles and methods of opening the units as long as they comply with the above requirements.Any interested Suppliers capable of meeting the Councils requirements should submit their proposal via the Sell2Wales platform.Please note this is for supply only, not install.Any queries should be raised via the Sell2Wales platform in the first instance.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=141561.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
