The Welsh Government Smart Living team has continuously supported innovative decarbonisation projects since 2014. This includes the development of a whole energy systems approach specific to Wales to deliver Net Zero by 2050, using the SBRI framework model.An impact and value evaluation of Smart Living programmes is being completed. The impact and evaluation includes a mission review exercise.ObjectivesDevelopment of a pipeline of decarbonisation innovation projects covering priorities included in Regional Energy Plans and Local Area Energy Plans (LAEP) for all regions.Support for successful applicants to implement projects planned for WSRID (Whole Systems Research & Innovation for Decarbonisation) SBRI 1.0 Phase 1 - Feasibility Challenge 2024 -2025.
