Marine Licencing and Specialists Advice Framework 2025 _Supplier Engagement session
Notice Description
The Marine Licensing Team (MLT) within NRW act as the regulator for marine development consent within Wales (currently inshore region - to 12nm offshore), as described by the Marine and Coastal Access Act (MACAA, 2009). NRW undertakes this role on behalf of Welsh Ministers. This purchase is to enable provision of the following: Specialist technical advice on the impacts to the environment from marine licence applications, that is often outside of the remit of NRW specialists, or beyond the resource capacity available within NRW at the given time, for example (but not limited to), specialist fisheries and underwater acoustics advice. Analytical services, for example, but not limited to, sediment sampling and analysis service associated with dredge-disposal activities (pre-application; applications and post-licensing discharge of conditions).
