North Wales Substance Misuse Phycological Interventions Service

Direct Award 2 under Health Service Procurement (Wales) Act 2024 Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales regulations 2024) The North Wales Phycological Interventions Service (CAMFA) is a regional service whose overall aim is to ensure that people looking to recover from problematic substance misuse (drugs and or alcohol) have access to the evidence-based psychological interventions that they need in the right place at the right time. This service offers a single point of access for a range of different interventions for Adults, Families and Young people from the age of 14+, Including:- Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) - Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)- Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) - Contingency Management (CM)- Counselling- Relapse Prevention- Health Promotion- Behavioural Interventions- Anxiety/Stress Management- Coping Mechanisms- Brief Counselling Interventions - Harm reduction advice/support- Structured one to one sessions and group work. The Service is offered face to face and/or online where appropriate.
