The decision to select the chosen provider and to utilise the Most Suitable Provider Process was based on the following: - Changing the incumbent provider could risk destabilising service users currently living in Mind supported housing, where strong and well established relationships with staff are already in place. - The existing housing provision is already established and will continue to support service users with minimal disruption. - A transitional period is required, as the contract management for this service previously sat with Cardiff Council. The service will be subject to a future tender process, where wider market engagement can take place. No providers were excluded from the procurement process; There were no declared conflicts or potential conflicts of interest of individuals making the decision.
