The purpose of this tender exercise is to undertake an integral part of the "Building our Future Schools' Estate Management Plan" (SEMP) by providing internal and external upgrades to Braehead Primary School, Dumbarton. Specifically this will include - [roof works, new windows and internal refurbishment] - Replacement of all existing single glazed, sash and case windows and all existing Crittall-type windows with double-glazed, uPVC windows. - Renewal of existing slate roof underlay and re-fix existing slates and replacement of existing damaged or missing slates; renewal of flat-roofed areas with insulated single-ply membrane roofing; renewal of existing lead flashings. - Repair of existing roof-mounted cupolas. - Repair damaged stonework incl. damaged lintels. - Cleaning, repair and, if necessary, selective replacement of existing rainwater goods. - Remedial works to existing damaged internal window surrounds. - New blinds to replacement windows. - Selected internal redecorations, including floor finishes, areas of ceiling and wall painting. - Repairs and new nosings as required to internal stairs.
