Notice Description

The Common Services Agency (more commonly known as National Services Scotland) ('the Authority') acting through its division National Procurement, is undertaking this procurement of Orthotic Services ('Services') including the provision of Level 4 Orthotic Assistant, Level 5 Orthotist, Level 6 Orthotist and Level 7 Orthotist on behalf of all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS Organisation established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978), any integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014 (collectively hereafter referred to as 'Participating Authorities').

West of Scotland region: Orthotic service provision (only)

Provision of Orthotic services (only) for in-scope NHSS West of Scotland Healthboards. Healthboard coverage includes the following HBs: A&A, D&G, LAN, GG&C, HIG, WI.. Indicative annual spend is currently 439k GBP per annum

Renewal: Two (2) twelve (12) month optional extensions are available on this framework at the sole discretion of the Authority.

East of Scotland region: Orthotic service provision (only)

Provision of Orthotic services (only) for in-scope NHSS West of Scotland Healthboards. Healthboard coverage includes the following HBs: BOR, FIF, LOT, FOR, TAY, GRA, SHE, ORK.. Indicative annual spend is 420k GBP per annum.

Renewal: Two (2) twelve (12) month optional extensions are available on this framework at the sole discretion of the Authority.
