Lot 1

East Lothian Council intends to set up a Framework Agreement for Care at Home & Housing Support Services. No guarantee is given with regard to the Council's overall uptake of any resulting contract. The Framework Agreement will be for five years from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2022 with the option to extend for two further periods of twelve months. Appropriate registration with the Care Inspectorate is an essential requirement for Providers to be included in the Framework Agreement.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

All personnel who will be employed and volunteers used to deliver this contract to be PVG registered. Relevant staff will be SSSC registered. Pass the East Lothian Council financial standing assessment, have relevant policies in place, meet the insurance requirements for the contract, and have adequate procedures with regard to Health and Safety, Quality Management and Business Continuity."
