The Authority, is inviting tenders in respect of a Term Contract for the provision of disposal and/or treatment capacity for residual waste as well as rubble/stone by a suitably skilled, resourced and experienced economic operator.

Midlothian Council, is inviting tenders in respect of a Term Contract for the provision of disposal and/or treatment capacity for residual waste as well as rubble/stone by a suitably skilled, resourced and experienced economic operator. Options as to the exact method of waste treatment, recovery or disposal are left with the Contractor. The Contract is for a relatively short period of time, less than two years, as the Authority is committed to supply its residual waste streams to the treatment facility currently in development at Millerhill, Midlothian.. Please ensure all queries are raised through this contract notice via the provided Question & Answer facility

Options: The Authority requires Tenderers to submit optional costs for providing haulage from the Authority's transfer station to the Tenderer's treatment facility.

Renewal: Four extension periods of three months will be available to the Authority, bringing the total possible period of extension to 12 months.
