It is anticipated that the design team will either be a multi-disciplinary organisation or a consortium brought together by one Lead Consultant to complete this Project. Expressions of Interest from individual consultants who cannot provide all of the necessary services will not be considered. The Lead Consultant/Architect-led Design Team will undertake all duties as set out in the full invitation to tender (available from www.publiccontractsoctland.gov.uk), for the Client, Ceolas Uibhist, acting on behalf of the partnership Cnoc Soilleir. It is intended that there will be a single professional service contract between Ceolas Uibhist and the selected Lead Consultant/Architect-led Design Team. In the first instance the main objective of the Lead Consultant/Architect-led Design Team will be to proactively and comprehensively lead the design and coordination of all aspects of the project to the end of Phase 1 (Detailed Design and Groundworks) and to work with the client and other consultants to prepare for Phase 2 of the project (Superstructure, fit-out and completion). It is anticipated that the Lead Consultant/Architect-led Design Team will be procured for the whole project (i.e. Phases 1 and 2). The Cnoc Soilleir development will be implemented in two phases; Phase 1 will comprise detailed design work and initial groundworks. Phase 2 will include all remaining construction works, building fit-out and project completion.
