On behalf of the Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde along with key local partners which to commission an alcohol and drug prevention and education contract for Glasgow City. A provider or consortium of providers is sought to develop and deliver this contract which will be formed of 3 lots 1. Alcohol Brief Interventions 2. Training and Workforce Development 3. Multiple Risk prevention and education programme for the school setting and a multiple risk 1:1 service for Vulnerable Children and Young People

Training and Workforce Development

Devise and deliver training and resource support for community based staff working with children, young people and adults to increase their effective contribution to alcohol and drug prevention and education

Multiple Risk Prevention and Education Programme for the school setting

Lot 3. Develop and deliver a multiple risk programme for all primary and secondary schools across Glasgow City targeted at children and young people in key transitional stages that includes alcohol, drugs and tobacco Lot 3. Development of a new service that identifies and supports vulnerable children and young people at risk from their own or anothers alcohol or drug use utilising an evidence based multiple risk rrogramme.

Alcohol Brief Interventions

Lot 1.Support the coordination, rollout and delivery of alcohol brief interventions in the wider community and primary care settings. Must provide an accessible service in line with Equalities Act 2010. Must evidence protocols and procedures for child protection and working with vulnerable individuals must be in place. 6. must agree that the PVG/Enhanced Disclosure requirement will be met. 7. provider must evidence details of 2 services similar to the lot requirement that that you have provided within the last 3 years.
