CalMac Ferries Limited is seeking a Contractor to provide the following equipment and services: - 4 off Replacement Generator Sets to MV Isle of Lewis -supply & installation & commissioning - Removal and disposal of existing Generator Sets - Provision of through life service schedule and cost for 4500 hours per annum service plan for period of 6 years - Provision of spares package for same MV Isle of Lewis - Technical Data: Gross Registered Tonnage 6753 tonnes Length Overall 101 metres Draught 3.043 metres Freeboard 0.972 metres Number of passengers & crew - 970 (Euro Class B restricted) Main Engines 2 Mirrless Blackstone 3266 KW Output at 600 RPM Existing Aux Engines Technical Data Volvo TAMD 162C-HS 328 KW Output at 1500 RPM 415 V 50 HZ Sea Water Cooling Builders Ferguson Shipbuilders Port Glasgow Year of build 1995 Vessel availability for upgrade Winter Overhaul Period 2017 / 18 (usually between October - February). Approximately 14 days.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
