Notice Description

An information security specialist to fill a new internal post on an interim basis. The position is currently open to recruitment in parallel to be filled is a full time position.The primary responsibilities of the post are:* Development of ISMS: to ensure NSS compliance with NHS Scotland Information Security Policy framework, through development of ISO27001 aligned ISMS for NSS* Information system (IS) risk assessment: supporting NSS projects by carrying out information risk assessments and recommending appropriate controls to mitigate risk* Other regulatory compliance: analysing and ensuring the ISMS will meet requirements of other legislation, in particular GDPRThe initial contract duration is one month, and the full contract duration is likely to be between three and six months depending on circumstances.
