The West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership wishes to attract a provider who is able to develop an innovative, user-led project, supported by trained volunteers , to help people with a learning disability to make friends and build natural networks in communities. The provider will enable and empower people to come together across West Lothian and make connections leading to friendship and social opportunities. There will be encouragement for people to think of themselves as part of their community rather than people who use a service and the opportunities available should derive from the interests of those involved.
