Notice Description
This is the Pre-Qualification (PQQ) stage for the appointment of a Framework of six suitably experienced and qualified Building Contractors to construct New Housing Developments on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council over a four year period (3years with the option of one year extension). The programme will start Initially with eleven projects totalling approximately 240 new council houses. The design and delivery of these projects will be led by an existing Design Team who are currently supporting East Dunbartonshire Council: The purpose of this PQQ is to request information which will assist in the selection of Building Contractors to be invited to tender

This is the Pre-Qualification (PQQ) stage for the appointment of a Framework of six suitably experienced and qualified Building Contractors to construct New Housing Developments on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Council over a four year period (3years with the option of one year extension). The programme will start Initially with eleven projects totalling approximately 240 new council houses. The design and delivery of these projects will be led by an existing Design Team who are currently supporting East Dunbartonshire Council: - Nine will be principally residential development on a range of site sizes from 3 units up to around 60 units. - One will potentially feature the refurbishment of an existing 19th century school building as residential apartments, with an element of new build - One will be jointly with Bield Housing & Care (subject to council approval and Bield Housing & Care Board approval). to also deliver a retirement apartment block and daycare centre. Consideration may be given to bringing this element forwards as a design and build contract. The purpose of this PQQ is to request information which will assist in the selection of Building Contractors to be invited to tender.
Renewal: Three years with the option of one year extension
