Notice Description

A new High School (Anderson High School) and associated Halls of Residence is currently under construction at the Clickimin area of Lerwick and is scheduled to be complete in September 2017. The scope of that project does not include re-development of the current Anderson High School site, however the Council is very clear that the site of the existing school at the Knab in Lerwick should not be allowed to lie disused for an extended period of time following that date and that plans for the future of the site should be developed, ready for implementation when it becomes vacant. This tender relates to the provision of consultancy services to produce a masterplan for the Knab site, in line with the enclosed brief and in line with the Development Brief that has been approved by the Council.
