Notice Title
Award of SQA2071 - Enterprise Architecture Tool
Notice Description
SQA is currently building an Enterprise Architecture capability within Business Systems. This capability is supported by an Enterprise Architecture framework that defines the types of content that need to be captured to allow SQA to fully document its overall enterprise from Business to Technology.Work has already been undertaken to produce a number of stand-alone architectural artefacts but as the number of these grow in line with project deliveries the ability to maintain a repository of artefacts will become increasingly unmanageable. Additionally there will be no ability to meaningfully publish these artefacts or undertake any analysis to support architecture governance. An Enterprise Architecture tool will support the following key requirements for SQA1. Allow architecture artefacts to be held in a central repository and be versioned controlled to create a "single source or truth"2. Allow the content of the artefacts to be analysed to undertake "what if" scenario planning to support architecture change.3. Support the creation of technology and business roadmaps for the service and support systems.4. Provide on-going support to the governance of Business and IT change programmes by supporting the documentation of full end to end business to technology usage.
