The research aim of this project is to determine the feasibility of producing 'generic' PVAs at appropriate scales (e.g. regional, Special Protection Area or colony) for use in assessments where data for the population of interest are sparse or lacking. Example PVAs will be produced for a number of seabird species and populations in Scotland by way of proof of concept exercise.
