River Clyde Homes (RCH) is a forward thinking and dynamic 'not for profit' social housing provider that owns and manages over 6,000 homes and provides factoring services to a further 2,250 homes in the Inverclyde area of Scotland. We require a contractor to carry out internal decoration works to our void properties within the Broomhill area of Greenock.

Lot Information

Lot 1

River Clyde Homes require the services of an experienced and competent contractor to provide internal decoration works to 164 void properties in the Broomhill area of Greenock. The properties are 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. Generally the works will include: - Preparation of all ceiling and wood finishes - Removal of any loose/damaged wall coverings (not full strip) - Apply 2 coats of white matt emulsion to all ceiling areas throughout property - Apply 1 coat of undercoat and 2 coats of white gloss to all wood finishes including all doors - Apply blown vinyl to all previously papered wall areas (excluding woodchip walls to be patched as and when required) - 1 coat white matt emulsion to all papered wall surfaces - Sparkle clean on completion and prior to handover. Clean all surfaces including window ledges, door handles radiators, sinks, mirrors and light switches, electrical sockets; if required brush / vacuum floor. The programme requires to be completed in it's entirety by 1st November 2017. To meet this timeframe, the successful contractor will be required to complete properties at a rate of 8-10 per week. Only contractors who have demonstrable previous experience of successfully delivering the volume of work within a similar timescale will be considered.
