Two sections of the roof at ROsewill Primary School, Midlothian require replacement, and they can be broadly differentiated into two areas,; -Roof 1 (circa 340 sqm) - site visit required -Roof 2 (circa 290 sqm) - site visit required -21 Rooflights/Cupola's to be replaced/refurbished -Hack off and re-form cement skews to various areas -Adjust/remake timber windows where required to provide a sufficient flat roof upstand (150mm) -Slate repairs where required.

Lot Information

Lot 1

Two sections of flat roof require to be replaced as they are currently in a state of disrepair and have been repaired/patched on numerous occasions in the past. There are 21 Roof lights/Cupolas of varying size and design to be replaced/refurbished on a like for like basis, some may need to be raised to allow a minimum 150mm upstand for the new felt work. There are a number of cement skews to be fully hacked off and re-formed. Adjust/remake timber windows where required to provide a sufficient flat roof upstand (150mm) There are a number of slate repairs to be carried out across the pitched roofs. An insurance-backed guarantee of 20 years is required for any proposed roofing system. The Authority has specified an cold applied roofing system with guarantee as above. You must be able to evidence that you are an Approved Installer for the system you are proposing.. All tenderers were notified of the outcome and should have letters detailing their scoring.
