Annual Opening 2017 - Early Learning and Childcare 3 and 4 Year olds
Notice Description
Scottish Borders Council's Framework Agreement for the provision of Early Learning and Childcare 3 and 4 years old has opened from 25th May 2017 to 5th July 2017. During this period providers currently not on the Framework Agreement and wish to make application for inclusion on the list for the remainder of the original term.
Lot Information
Lot 1
Parents will be guided to the list to enable them to make the choice of placement for their child. The placements must be; 1. Available for all 3-4 years. 2. A minimum of 2.5 to maximum of 8 hours per a day. 3. Be capable of delivering up to 600 hours per child. 4. Available a minimum of 38 weeks of the year (normally Term time). 5. Free of charge to the parent (snacks and milk can be added extra). 6. Flexible to meet the needs for Parent/Carers/Families. 7. Delivered in line with Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014. The process to qualify for participation will be through a set of required minimum standards and a series of quality based questions. The minimum standards and award criteria are as detailed within the document on Public Contracts Scotland Tender. Only those Providers achieving the required minimum standards will be eligible to be considered for inclusion on the list. It is anticipated that each Provider qualifying for participation on the list will be awarded an overarching contract, Parents will have the choice where to place their children.. Existing participants need not reapply.
Renewal: there is an option to extend for a further 12 months.
