Notice Description

Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP) are seeking an organisation to develop and manage a 'Well-being for Longer' (WLG) fund for Glasgow City Council (GCC) area. This fund incorporates two previous funding arrangements, the Glasgow Third Sector Transformation Fund and GCC Lunch Club funding arrangements. The aim of the Fund is to enable community and third sector organisations to design and deliver programmes that enable Glasgow residents that are more likely to experience isolation (by equalities barriers such as age, disability and deprivation) to sustain well-being and reduce isolation.

GHSCP is seeking a dynamic organisation(s) to manage the transition from the existing Glasgow Third Sector Transformation Fund and GCC Lunch Club funding arrangements for the remainder of 2017/18 and the new Glasgow ' Well-being for Longer' Fund (WLG) fund for 2018/19. The fund value for 2017/18 will be an apportionment of the annual GBP 600k and for 2018/19 will be GBP 730,000. GHSCP is seeking an organisation with the competency to manage and disperse the funds. The organisation will have the skills to support local community and third sector organisations to work together across services and sectors to deliver a range of approaches across the city.
