The requirement is to provide 1 MUGA with 3G synthetic grass surface within Clydemuir Primary School, Clydebank, including all associated site works, services and landscaping, to replace the current Blaes pitch. The pitch size is as follows: 44m x 64m.

West Dunbartonshire Council intends to commission the upgrade of a blaes pitch situated within the grounds of Clydemuir Primary School, Clydebank to a 3G Mutlisport synthetic turf facility with a shockpad. The pitch will provide a surface to be used by the school and the community. As such the construction on the surface must be robust to account the usage. The pitch will be primarily classed as a football surface and therefore must comply with the requirements defined in BS EN 15330-1:2013 (Surfaces for sports areas - Synthetic turf and needle punched surfaces primarily designed for outdoor use). Works shall comprise of: Preparation of the site by removal of the existing blaes surface Regulate base layer Install drainage Install perimeter ducting to facilitate possible future development Provide a levelling layer Supply and install a shockpad Supply and install synthetic turf Install perimeter fence This list is intended to scope out the works and is not a comprehensive schedule of works - refer to the specification for precise details of the nature of the works.
