    "description": "Masonry Re-Instatement Review Project Reference D205 Information Day The State Hospital believe that the ability to experience the constraints and complexities of working in an live psychiatric hospital brings issue contractors may or may not have thought about during the tendering process. It is with this in mind that the Hospital will be holding an Bidder Information Day to firstly experience and learn about working in a secure environment and secondly to talk though the work required. The information day will be on Tue the 20th June from 1pm onwards. Any changes to the details will be posted via Public Contracts Scotland Web Portal. To book your appointment You are asked to Contact Lorraine Imrie on 01555 842 100 or by email on lorraineimrie@nhs.net This meeting will not be a one to one with your firms representatives but in small to medium size groups pending the response to this open tender opportunity. The Works Its hoped that the tender information pack posted on Public Contracts Scotland will inform you of the works required however any additional information can be sought via the portals Question and Answer section and on the information day. David Martin is the hospital Head of Estates and Facilities and will be available to respond to question. It is vital that in all patient accessible building that the wall inspection opening is completely closed before the end of play. Contractors need to have the appropriate trades available and able to complete each section before moving onto the next one. Your operatives will be escorted at all times and the Hospital resources mean that we will only be able to have one site on the go at any one point in time. Openings in the buildings within the secure essential services compound will not require completion on the same day however; the site must be left in a safe and secure manor with appropriate signage or heras fencing as required. Patient Accessible Buildings The Hospital will ensure it has its advisors and engineers on hand to do the inspections and take photographs but contractors must ensure that schedule allows the space to be opened and closed off in one day.
