The successful Candidate will be responsible for: removal of 28no. [2 front & 2 rear per close] existing 3 storey balcony screen enclosures, retaining existing structural elements and the design [confirmed by Contractor Design Proposals submitted with this tender], to standards as described in the drawings and specification for the installation of: new balcony screens; upgrading top floor balcony roof performance; replacing inner patio doors with windows; ventilation and heating alterations; all associated work; and making good works disturbed/ finishes at 5,7 & 9 Glenburnie Place; 41,43 & 45 Wardie Road and 9 Edderton Place, Easthall, Glasgow G34

The tender will comprise the Capability Document [based on ESPD format], the Contract Sum stated on the Form of Tender and your quality score from the Contractor Design Proposal submitted [refer specification clause L10/106] and satisfactory references. The submitted Capability Document Submission will be assessed o a pass or fail basis to identify contractors who pass the thresholds, only for those contractors who pass- The criteria for scoring will be to reach a total percentage score as follows: Price (tender)- deducting 1% from 100 for every percentage point each tender is in excess of the lowest tender, prior to weighting. Quality- out of 100 for submission of Contractor Design Proposals, submissions ranked in relation to the other candidates. Price/ Quality percentage scores will evaluated on a 40% tender price/ 60% tender quality basis to determine the total score and the preferred candidate contractor. The highest scoring candidate may be recommended for acceptance as the preferred contractor.
