Notice Description

Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) require the development of a new Debt Arrangement Scheme (DAS) Case Information System (CIS) and a new DAS Register.AiB is committed to modernising and updating Bankruptcy law and Bankruptcy services in Scotland to ensure that it can effectively address the challenges society faces today. The Agency seeks to develop a service for debt advice, debt management and debt relief which is fit for the 21st century.In an effort to achieve this ambition, AiB has committed to investing in new technology which will help support and drive this modernisation of services, providing the best options for its stakeholders and the people of Scotland.This investment will support the on-going promotion of DAS as a voluntary form of Debt Management that consistently provides the greatest returns to creditors while offering protection and relief to the debtor.The expected live release date of this new system and register is 1 July 2019.
