Perth and Kinross Council is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Service Providers to deliver an accessible, high quality, home based family support service to secure a nurturing environment for children. A consultation meeting will be held on 12 October 2017 and will be open to all Providers to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to consult with, and seek feedback from, Providers on the service specification. The draft specification is attached to this notice and we ask that you download this and return your initial feedback to us on the form provided by Monday, 18 September 2017. All comments submitted prior to the meeting will be reviewed and the impact on the specification discussed at the meeting. Please confirm the name and contact details of all representatives you wish to attend the consultation meeting by Monday, 18 September 2017. Lot Information

Provision of Intensive Family Support Service

The service will focus on families with children aged 5-11 years old. It will help ensure children will be supported to remain at home where possible and engage with parents to improve their capacity to care for their children, build their ability and practical parenting skills. The service will be flexible and encourage the building of family routine and parental responsibility.

Support for children aged 8-16 with experience of parental substance misuse, poor mental health or domestic violence

A service which responds to the needs of children aged 8-16 with experience of parental substance misuse, poor mental health or domestic violence. The focus of this service will be to provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact of these issues on the lives of children and young people.
