Design, install, operate and maintain generation and associated equipment to provide heat and cooling within the Queens Quay development and connected neighbouring buildings, including the installation and operation of water source heat pumps on a sufficient scale to optimise the economic performance of the district heating network. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: Initial contract for 13 years with option to extend for 7 years. Thereafter a procurement is envisaged to identify an energy centre operator.
