Stirling Council is seeking to appoint a specialist rating consultant to provide first class professional advice, guidance, and assistance on a range of non-domestic rating issues. The Council wishes to appeal the revised Rateable Value assessments for all operational and non-operational properties, including vacant properties, with a view to achieving the maximum possible reduction in the Council's financial liability. In addition, the Council may be required to submit further appeals due to material change of circumstance or the completion/acquisition of new buildings during the period of the Contract. The successful consultant will also be expected to provide ad hoc rating advice and guidance as required during the period of the appointment.
