Site 5 of the Council's Housing Development Programme is sited within the Kilmardinny masterplan area. The development site has uncertain ground conditions at present - it will also be infilled significantly to raise it above the flood risk level for the area. Our consultant structural engineers have advised that the GI should include for Cone Penetration Testing to test soil compaction. This element has resulted in a higher cost of work.
