Notice Description

The Service will support Older People/Adults with a range of needs through the provision of personal care, personal support, housing support and sleep overs in service users own homes. The service will be delivered 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. The Service will normally be delivered during the core hours of 0700 to 2300 hours but providers will be required to deliver the Service out with the core hours as necessary to ensure service users receive their assessed care and support. The Council is commissioning 5,848 hours per week over 4 geographical Lots. The Council is committed to enabling service users to have choice and control over their lives and to remain living at home as independently as possible for as long as possible. Providers will be innovative and flexible in their approach to achieving positive outcomes for service users in this respect.
