Notice Description

The City of Edinburgh Council has funded homeless accommodation with support for over 14 years and recognises the importance of delivering a service to homeless people with various support needs including mental health issues, addiction issues, physical and learning disabilities and people who are vulnerable due to age. As part of the service design process the City of Edinburgh Council would like to invite all interested potential suppliers to have a frank and open discussion about Homeless Accommodation with support and the challenges. Please note by submitting your interest you are agreeing to further engagement with the Council. The Council may decide to competitively tender this contract in the future. If authorised, this service will be awarded as a 3 year contract commencing 1st April 2019 with a possible extension period of up to two years. The purpose of this PIN is to engage with potential suppliers and all information contained within this PIN may to subject to change.

As part of the service design process the City of Edinburgh Council would like to invite all interested potential suppliers to have a frank and open discussion about Homeless Accommodation with support. The Council is seeking interest from suppliers who are able to provide accommodation and support and also who are open to discuss new/innovative ways to provide homeless accommodation and support with solutions to moving clients to settled accommodation including the private sector.. Please refer to the Position Paper and Programme for Supply Market Awareness Day.
