Summary of the contracting process

The procurement process is managed by Argyll and Bute Council, focusing on the "Rothesay TH and Dunoon CARS Design Team Framework." This initiative aims to rejuvenate historic buildings in Rothesay and Dunoon by offering grants to property owners for repairs. The framework is categorised under services and is currently in the award stage, having completed the tendering process. Key dates include the deadlines for submissions which ended on 23rd October 2017, with the contracts being signed on 6th February 2018. The principal industry classification is "General public services," with delivery locations in Dunoon and Rothesay.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for architectural and conservation firms, particularly those with conservation accreditation. Businesses specialising in heritage restoration, property management, and consultancy services would benefit from competing in this framework. As the council continues to assist property owners and itself in appointing accredited professionals, firms with proven experience and a solid financial standing are especially encouraged to participate, enabling them to contribute to the revitalisation of these historic towns while expanding their business footprint.
