Following agreement by the Council, a programme of open market purchases have been agreed to add to the supply of council housing in Midlothian. An independent open market valuation should be obtained in order that the Council is purchasing property at a realistic price. In addition, the Council requires open market valuations of land and development sites where an independent valuation may be required either for acquisition, disposal or transfer internally between Council Divisions/ Sections. Midlothian Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and resourced independent Valuation Consultant to fully and accurately provide the current market value for each property/site.

Renewal: Two further 12 month extension periods are available to the Authority.
