Notice Title
How can SG use remote sensing tech to assess the amt loc and distrib of trees outside of Scot woods?
Notice Description
The aim of this research project is to develop and test a methodology for using remote sensing to quantify the amount, location and distribution of non-woodland trees features. This would offer the opportunity for Scottish Government to organise monitoring of non-woodland trees more efficiently and accurately. In this context remote sensing includes technologies such as satellite, radar, aerial photography, un-manned aerial vehicles, or existing mapping information.
