Commissioned academic reviews of 'the current state and future prospects for community sport in Scotland'. -9 academic review papers by experts across Scottish Universities in approved academic, publishable style with reference and crediting in place -Papers to provide critical, challenging perspectives (see topics at the end) -Linked to policy and practice outcomes in Scotland. -6 months duration maximum - sooner if possible -Culminating in presentation at conference in June 2018 and/or stakeholder event sooner. OSS need: -A short overview summary -the fuller academic review -powerpoint presentation and agreement to speak at least one event for OSS and/or conference. -Each paper should be no more than 5000 words and the overview summary approximately 500 words. -OSS will own and publish the finished work as part of their central knowledge base crediting the author -All academic work for OSS is overseen by the Research Advisory Group (RAG) Chaired by Prof Richard Davison.
