Transport for Education and Social Care Requirements
Notice Description
This procurement is concerned with obtaining best value for the provision of school and social care transport that the Council may require. The Council has a core vision for Clackmannanshire as an area where children, young people and vulnerable adults will be safe, enjoy good health and have access to a wide range of positive experiences and opportunities to enable them to achieve their potential. Enabling access to services, including through provision of transport, is a key component of this vision. The transport services to be procured will enable the Council to meet statutory requirements in providing transport for distance-entitled school pupils, while other transport provision will help to achieve the Council's objectives as regards the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults in Clackmannanshire.

Lot 1
Provision of education and social care related transport by Public Service Vehicle (9 or more passenger seats, unless operating under Special Restricted PSV licence).. This notice is to notify successful application to join the DPS. All suppliers admitted to the DPS will be invited to the call offs as and when required
Options: To encourage SME participation, options and variants that meet the minimum requirement in each specification will be considered.
