Notice Description
The aim of this work is to obtain a monitoring system which will collect data on walking, cycling and vehicle movements within the Stirling City area. This system will allow data to be collected remotely from the office and will save both time, and fuel emissions from the car in doing so. By having more, high quality data of the entire transport network, across all modes, we can make better informed decisions regarding transport. This project will be partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of Scotland's 8th City Programme. Supply and Installation of Pedestrian/Cylclist Counters
Stirling Council are looking for suitably experienced and qualified suppliers/contactors to Supply and Install Pedestrian/Cyclist Counters.. Refer to Section VI: Complimentary Information VI.3 - Additional Information
Supply of Journey Time CountersLot 2 - Supply only of Journey time Counters. Stirling Council are looking for a suitably qualified supplier to provide the council with Journey Time Counters to include the following: - Record vehicle journey times from point to point either using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi detection (or equivalent) (approx. 20 points) - NB. If equivalent are the supplied, the Council are not liable for extra cost involved if internal system needs updating.. Refer to Section VI: Complimentary Information VI.3 - Additional Information
