The Service is provided: - Through hospital in-reach - One to one in a service users home ( CHSS provide training for this role in the form of lone worker; health and safety; roles and boundaries in addition to training to assist service user with communication) - One to one in the community - Core Communication Groups - Social and Affiliated Groups. CHSS employ a Speech and Language Therapist to train employees and volunteers in communication skills. CHSS "Voices Training" in communication skills may also be provided on a commercial basis. CHSS work closely with Stroke Nurses and Speech and Language Therapists in NHS A&A.
