Notice Description

The project is located at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, 84 Castle Street, Glasgow G4 0SF, with the works contained to one main area, being the Jubilee Building, generally throughout ground floor and levels -1 and -2. However it should be noted that 20no. repeater panels throughout all levels of the jubilee building are fed from panel 10 and should be replaced as part of these works.

Lot 1

The project works generally consist of the following:- Upgrading fire alarm Panel 10 within the Jubilee building at GRI. Replacement of all field fire alarm devices fed from panel no 10. Replacement of 20 no. repeater panels Electrical isolations as required. Temporary Builderswork to allow existing and new panels to run simultaneously All work to be carried outwith normal working hours i.e. nightshift work only to minimise disruption to the hospital Provision and connections of temporary backup generators including fuel, should they be required. Builderswork associated with the required works, including making good and fire stopping as necessary. Testing and commissioning all systems to demonstrate operation of design intent Provision of all necessary testing/inspection and required certification for completion. Provision of training the client personnel on the various systems and their operation Handing all systems over fully operational and fault free Provision of all required record drawings and Operation and Maintenance Information
