Summary of the contracting process

Scottish Enterprise, located in Glasgow, is conducting a procurement process titled "Consortium Expert Support," aimed at establishing a framework of 3 to 5 suppliers to provide expert support for their Consortium Expert Support product. The procurement is categorised under services and follows an open procedure. The framework is set to commence on 1st April 2018, with an expected duration of three years, including a potential one-year extension. The deadline for submissions was on 9th February 2018.

This tender presents significant opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in consultancy and business support services. Given that around 70 to 100 companies are projected to access support over the framework's duration, engaging in this tender could enhance businesses' visibility and client base in the public sector. Companies that already have or can secure the necessary insurances and demonstrate relevant experience will be particularly competitive in this process.
