The aim of this research is to provide a holistic picture of the current provision of Gypsy / Traveller sites in Scotland. To do that contractors are required to collate and analyse existing data collected by local authorities on the use of public sector Gypsy/Traveller sites, provision of private sites which have been approved through the planning process, and other encampments.
